Seychelles’ beauty queen 2012, Sherlyn Furneau has received the support of the American Costume Jewellery Company Stella & Dot, who delightfully sponsored her with some of their latest collections of jewelleries.
The sponsorship of the beautiful jewelleries of Stella & Dot has been made possible through its UK founding Independent senior stylist, BELs King-Harman.

The costume jewellery company has been featured several times in Vogue, Harpers, Elle, and Marie Claire among many other international magazines. Great Ormond St Childrens Hospital
Dazzling Gowns, Paparazzi & Bels Gems that Rocked for Great Ormond St Hospital
Having been invited by Riea’s Events on behalf of her celebrating her 10 year anniversary of creating events, i was delighted to learn that i would be styling not only the wonderful charity raffle ticket models but also the beautiful Sophie Anderton. the event was in aid of Great Ormond St Childrens Hospital to raise funds for a new Neurological operating theatre that they so desperately need.
Preparation took 3 weeks to get an idea of how best to use the opportunity of sponsoring the event which held at The Millenium Hotel, Kensington and was being covered by OK magazine, Fashion TV with red carpet to boot, so I took along my regular & reliable photographer Martin Carter from Bath.
From rehearsals on the day at 2pm til the end of the evening at midnight, it was non stop preparation and co-ordination. Fortunately with the huge variety of Stella & Dot that I hold, I was able to fulfill all the ladies style wishes to make their look a glamourous affair. All the beautiful ticket seller Models were wearing body tight dresses in either a floral pattern or a bold block purple – as you can imagine, this made the Stella & Dot styling quite precise, to achieve this style feat i went from using the glamourous Metropolitan, to the subtlety of the Corso range. of course i’m glad to say that all the models loved what they were wearing & were keen to know about my association with Stella & Dot.
Nina Naustdal’s dresses were jewels in their own right, so made styling slightly complicated – so I concentrated mainly on supplying Sophie Anderton -
and more about this in my next post. Of all the dresses I styled for Sophie, I loved the elegant long black gown that was delicately jewelled in yellow and clear crystal diamonds to give a bodice effect on the front of the body – check it out

A quick Styling Sesh with Miss Denmark
Introducing Iris Thomsen, Miss Denmark!
Well it was all a bit of a whirlwind but Iris came to visit me for the day in london where I styled her in some of the clothes and jewellery for her trip to Canada and USA for various charity events she has been invited to attend. That all sounds like it should have been pretty straight forward…. but not so!
With 24 hours on the clock Miss Denmark flew in to London. As she hit the tarmac the UK began to fall apart as we all became snow bound! All of a sudden the clothes couldn’t make their way to my apartment, the photo the photographer tried to get there however couldn’t and the designer of the handbags was snowed in and ill! But as always we managed to pull it all together for her by bringing together some spare pieces plus blending in a few pieces from my daughters wardrobe !! Luckily all of the new season Spring/Summer Stella & Dot Jewellery was ready and waiting for her, however good design is always appealing and we ended up combining some of the new with the old S&D…

Then we got our Bels style on..
I loved the leopard print on Iris , her skin tone was perfectly creamy for it . The boldness and utter strength of the Stella & Dot Tempest necklace and bracelet was a dynamic contrast to her soft look but altogether with the combination of the bold checked Jacket , the slim leggings and soft body hugging Marc Jacobs top everything worked well with Iris’s height.

Set against the delicate lace of this Reiss shirt which also allowed the play of the skin to become part of the shirt , put together with the exact matching blue leggings made this a very wearable outfit , day or night

How gorgeous is Iris!
This fab BCBG dress was the perfect dress for Iris to take with her. It became a top with, again, the leggings, or a very mini little clubbing dress worn with sheer tights.
Her hair pulled up and back was a must because it then created a very clean look and the Lillith Fringe Earrings ( as below ) were the exact length needed to work to create feminine movement around her very pretty face.

I loved combining the soft golds & silvers with the murky taupe & silver colours going on in this beautiful top . The Stella & Dot Cora Chandelier Earrings and the Aurora Cocktail Ring are exactly the same combination of tones .
